Neiting ST44 lies proximal to the web margin between the 2nd and 3rd toes, at the junction posterior to the toe web of the red and white skin.

Nei: interior Ting: courtyard
Neiting lies next to lidui (ST45), as if it were a courtyard to it.

Location:

Proximal to the web margin between the 2nd and 3rd toes, at the junction posterior to the toe web of the red and white skin.

Functions and Indications of Neiting:

  • Toothache in the upper jaw, swollen and sore throat, nosebleed, deviated mouth.
  • Febrile diseases.
  • Stomach pain with sour regurgitation, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation.
  • Swelling and pain in the dorsum of the foot.

Method:

Puncture perpendicular or obliquely 0.3-0.5cun.

Remarks:

Ying-Spring point – Clear ST Heat (excess and deficient heat).

Precaution:

Be careful with diabetes patients.
