Nomenclature:

Qing: cool Leng: cold Yuan: deep water
The function of Qing lengyuan is to eliminate the heat of Sanjiao as if the patient were in cool deep water.
Point: TE11
Chinese Name: 清冷渊
English Name/Meaning: Clear Cold Abyss
Pinyin: qīng lěng yuān
Han Geul 한글: cheong naeng yeon 청랭연
Romaji: sei rei en?
Vietnamese: Thanh lãng uyên

Location:

This point is located 1 cun proximal to SJ10 (Tianjing).

Functions:

  • Clears channel invigorates collateral.
  • Clears heat, drains fire.

Indications of Qinglengyuan:

  • Migraine, headache, eyepain, jaundice.
  • Local disorders: motor impairment and pain of the shoulder and arm.

Method:

Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.

He is a registered Doctor in NAMC (Nepal Ayurveda Medical Council ) both as a physician as well as TCM/Acupuncture Specialist.
