Location:

6 cun below Chengfu (BL36) on the line joining Chengfu (BL36) and Weizhong (BL40).

Functions of Yinmen:

  • Strengthens lumbar spine.
  • Relaxes sinew.
  • Invigorates collaterals.

Indications:

Pain in the lower back and thigh, muscular atrophy, pain, numbness and motor impairment of the lower extremities.

Method:

Perpendicular insertion 1 to 2 cun.

Remarks:

  • Good point for sciatica, paralysis of legs.
  • Very sensitive, very powerful.
