Location:

Sanyangluo lies 4 cun proximal to the dorsal crease of the wrist between the radius and ulna.

Functions:

  • Clears channels and invigorates channel (stiff aching muscles or arm and hand).
  • Opens sensory orifices (loss of voice, aphasia).

Indications of sanyangluo:

  • Ear problems: tinnitus, deafness, blockage of ears, ear ache.
  • Local disorders: pain in finger, arm, elbow, shoulder, upper back problems (pain, numbness, tingling, tremors, movement limited ).
  • Sudden loss of voice, toothache.

Method:

Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.

Remarks:

Meeting point of 3 yang arm meridians.
