Nomenclature:

Zhong: middle Zhu: to pour
The Qi of the kidney meridian pours from zhong-zhu into the middle jiao.
Point: KI15
Chinese Name: 中注
English Name/Meaning: Middle Flow
Pinyin: zhōng zhù
Han Geul 한글: jung ju 중주
Romaji: chū chū
Vietnamese: Trung chú

Location:

1 cun below the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to Yinjiao (Ren5).

Functions and Indications of Zhong-zhu:

Regulates Conception and governor vessels and supplies Kidney qi and circulates fluid. So, is beneficial in irregular menstruation, Dysmenorrhoea, Abdominal Pain, Constipation.

Method:

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 1 cun.

Remarks:

Meeting point of Kidney and chong vessel.
